Silver Lake - Analyst graduate recruitment process

Hi Monkeys,

I will have the Silver Lake analyst (out of graduate) recruitment process in early August and they told me I will have to go through 2 tests before the AC: - 1 LBO case - 1 Accounting case

Did somebody already go through this? What should I expect (particularly for the accounting case)? How could I train? Do you have websites to recommend me?

Thx

Oh interesting - thx. As for websites I only know: macabacus and street of walls but I believe that this kind of test are excel based and not a paper lbo.

LBO test is a basic lbo model, for which they give you all the assumptions and all you have to do is go through the motions. If you have access to the WSO job prep, there is a Technology PE case presentation that is very similar. The accounting test is literally a series of transactions that you have to account for and then make sure the balance sheet balances.

I'm talking about liquid. Rich enough to have your own jet. Rich enough not to waste time. Fifty, a hundred million dollars, buddy. A player. Or nothing. See my Blog & AMA

Sorry to revive an old thread. But what are the target schools in London for the Analyst process? My understanding is essentially all of the undergrad analyst hires, regardless of office seem to come from Wharton. Do they recruit from any top tier MSc Finance programs? Also, is there any OCR or is it accelerated recruiting for those who are summering at top tier BBs?
