How many of you have actually received carry checks? Please share some details. I'll go first - I've worked at 3 PE firms. Was not eligible for carry at first 2. At my current firm, I am largely vested but no payments yet. Fund is 0.8x DPI and ~2x TVPI. In summary, working in the industry for 12+ years and no carry yet.

I've been in PE 5 years, have had carry for 3. I'm on a deal-by-deal basis so it's different, but I'd expect first carry check in the next 12 months. Should receive 3-4 in next 36.
