Thoughts on GS/MS PE?
Anyone has thoughts on the direct PE arms of GS/MS (GS PIA, MSCP)? Currently in process with one of them and wanted to get a sense of their deal flow, b-school placement, culture, etc. And what are their comparable PE funds?

Not sure about GS but have worked closely with MSCP over the years. Strong team mostly focused on the middle market, good culture and b-school placement. Lots of the associates stayed on but ones who have left all got solid gigs (eg: Warburg, GTCR, Veritas, Crestview, Apax)
