Know a partner there. Apparently very tight knit, values-focused culture, kinda an old boys club vibe, but if someone else has more insight feel free to correct me. Operates more like a family office because that’s how it started, so you might get to avoid some of the bs material generation and needlessly accelerated timelines that plague MF PE. Seems like a good spot to be if you like industrials, but can’t speak on comp. Hope that helps

Comp for first year associate is 280k. Big emphasis on sourcing, even as part of the associate experience. Part of your bonus is based on sourcing actually. I don't know the exact mechanics or formula of it at all, but have heard that on rare occasion in the past, associates have gotten high 6 to low 7 figure checks for playing a part in sourcing a deal that went through. As a poster above said, think the family office roots still is a factor in their long time horizon with investing. Also have heard they're pretty operationally focused.

Source: Friend accepted offer there.
