Hi community, I am just curious, does anyone has a list of small IB or PE shops? Literally with 10 people or less? Would appreciate if you could share few names, specifically in NY area. Would also be grateful if you can share any which is ok hiring someone on H1b visa

Please no MS - just trying to be honest/helpful. Candidly, these are two polar opposites. Tiny firms will have the least resources and interest in visa sponsorship. Any reason you're focused so small? If you don't have permanent work authorization (i.e., more than H1b), your odds will be better with larger firms as small firms generally won't tolerate the risk nor expense of sponsoring someone.
Thank your for your reply. Several reasons. I am 4 years after graduating from Ivy league MBA, could not break into IB, having interviews/finals but not getting offer. I am highly technical in terms of skills, passing all stages etc., but still not getting final offers. Considering, I am not directly coming from IB background, probably smaller IB shops is a place to break into, despite being on H1b
Gotcha. Sorry to hear, sounds challenging. Agree perhaps an IB would be more open to sponsorship than PE which is typically averse and will unfortunately likely expect prior IB and PE experience post-MBA. Have you considered corp dev (more likely to sponsor) and/or international IB or PE which may be more amenable to your background?
