Toys "R" Us Bankruptcy
I’m working on a school case study about the bankruptcy of Toys 'R' Us, focusing on the impact of privaqte equity firms. I’m trying to uncover the financial, operational, and strategic factors at play.
If you have expertise in private equity, retail, or corporate restructuring—or were connected to Toys 'R' Us during its leveraged buyout or bankruptcy—I’d greatly appreciate your input. You can share your thoughts here or reach out directly, and anonymity is absolutely fine.
Thank you for helping me with my research!
A substantial amount of information is available via public resources as most of the financials leading up to the bankruptcy for OpCo, PropCos, and Taj are available via SEC filings and you should be able to access court documents as well.
what previous comment said, was also looking smth up today and came across a 30 page HBR case on Toys R Us
