I swear everytime someone asks these questions one of you jokers come out and say that it doesn't matter. And then you go about asking even more retarded questions. Why the fuck do you care if it matters to them? Just answer the kids questions.

OP - TPG hired mostly from GS this year, but not all as far as I know.

 

Not all GS but a large number. Most top analysts from other groups had already signed offers last spring, the ones who held out for megafunds either couldn't get good offers or (what I believe was the case for GS) were not allowed to recruit before then.
