Tricky compensation situation
Long time lurker, first time poster
I'm in a tricky compensation situation. I'm 6 months into an associate job at a well regarded mm fund, and have recently learned that I am being paid ~50k less than 1st years before me.
Has anyone else been in this situation? I'm thinking of negotiating but unsure how much leverage I have in this situation.
For reference, I'm performing well, maybe slightly above average
