When are bonuses paid out to first year associates in NYC PE? Given we start in July/August - do we get paid the following summer, or at the end of the calendar year (so 6 months in)?

Differs across the board. Some firms pay out summer cycle, but others stub and pay out year-end so i don’t think you can make a generalization.
