No, this is not worth it. I have never heard of a reputable firm hiring from such a program. In fact, if anything it is likely to hurt you more than help you.

To break into venture, the easiest ways are jobs in 1) product [for early-stage roles], 2) consulting, 3) finance [banking, investing, etc.], 4) strategic finance/business development/sales at a startup. If you don't yet have a background in those fields, you should aim to spend a few years getting some experience in those areas before looking for / applying for roles in venture.

If you do have a background in those areas, make sure you're prepped for venture interviews (lots of free resources out there will tell you how to prep, how to make an investment thesis, etc.) and then you can start cold emailing VCs to ask for jobs. There are also aggregator websites for opportunities in the field (vcrecruting on Twitter, John Gannon's blog) and headhunters for larger firms.
