Warburg FT Interviews
Hey! Has anybody had experience doing WP ft interviews? If yes, what resources would you recommend? Heard it's very case-based but would appreciate more specific guidance. Thanks.

Career Resources
For Warburg Pincus full-time (FT) interviews, focusing on case-based preparation is indeed crucial. Here are some specific resources and strategies based on the WSO content that could be highly beneficial:
Financial Modeling Resources: Since Warburg Pincus interviews are known for their case-based approach, enhancing your financial modeling skills is essential. Dive into resources like the DCF Modeling Training Guide, 3 Statement Model, and Accretion Dilution Model available on WSO. These will help you understand the financial underpinnings necessary for analyzing investment opportunities, which is a common case study topic.
Interview Questions & Answers: Review the Private Equity Interview Questions section on WSO. This section covers a wide range of questions, from technical to behavioral, that are commonly asked in PE interviews. Familiarizing yourself with these can give you a solid foundation and confidence during your interviews.
WSO Courses and Academy: Consider enrolling in relevant WSO courses or the WSO Academy programs that focus on Private Equity and Investment Banking Prep. These courses are designed to provide in-depth knowledge and practical skills that are directly applicable to the interview process.
Networking Guide: Utilize the WSO Networking Guide to connect with current or former Warburg Pincus employees. Gaining insights from their experiences can provide you with a clearer understanding of what to expect and how to tailor your preparation effectively.
WSO Community Forums: Engage with the WSO community by participating in forums related to Private Equity and Warburg Pincus. You can find threads discussing interview experiences, case studies, and even receive advice from peers who have gone through the process.
Remember, thorough preparation and understanding of the PE landscape, coupled with strong financial modeling skills, are key to succeeding in Warburg Pincus FT interviews. Good luck!

Bump!
Is this for London?
I did a first round last year and it was pretty intense. First section was a deal walk-through of my sophomore summer internship. Second section was how would I diligence/value a software company (interviewer was in the software buyout group, SIG if I remember correctly?). Didn't get a second round.
Oh interesting, thanks for sharing! How would you recommend preparing for it in hindsight? What performance metrics/ dynamics was the software case centered around? Would appreciate any insight!
