bump— any color?

Saw on another thread that their NY Tech is full (~1 spot in SF maybe?). Unsure on HC, but that's usually their stronger team.

have they filled their class yet?

pinged hh and no response. another thread said nyc tech was full, unsure on hc

Rly? HH told me they had given out “some” seats for hc already, which is why I said unsure. This is per CPI like last week.

Agree. Will note that they also promote to senior associate and VP for top performers. Recruiting is very difficult for off-cycle and WCAS is still a great place to start your career, would reccomend taking a WCAS offer if you get one. Very positive opinions on them working with their tech team in the past in banking, seem like sharp people who are also pleasant to work with.

Not many funds at NYC/SF that pay less than 300k at ~5bn fund size, the only exceptions I know of are HIG and AKKR. Even most of the non-NYC ones pay 300k. The delta in pay for most UMM names is not that large in the grand scheme of things. Would solve for interest in strategy, sector interest, fund trajectory, and promotion odds if your goal is to stay longer than 2 years. If interested in HC or Tech growth at reasonable price type of investing, it's a good shop to be at.
