What is it like working for the sovereign wealth funds?

Specifically for the Gulf States, though if someone had an experience at Norway’s fund I’d love to hear it!

These funds have a lot a lot of capital, and it looks like they’ve got some heavy hitters joining them recently.

My old firm used to do alot of deals with the sovereigns and we were always envious of their hours. Rarely did we see them stay past 6pm in NY (unless the deal was imminent). If you get the opportunity and want to live a happy life, that's the way to do it. Just my 2 cents
