Story I heard is that carry is not well-distributed so a lot of the teams spun/are spinning out (e.g., Arcline, Percheron, Lone View).

Yup, and basically all the top MDs are gone now. The guy who led tech (and many of GGC’s top investments) left to start lone view and brought a bunch of the team with him, I assume because he didn’t think he was getting a fair share of the carry pool.
