Will I make it into Brookfield?
Current analyst and am looking to get into Brookfield infra as an associate.
It's difficult to find consistent precedence on Linkedin for a similar transition so assuming hard, but hoping to see what other have to say.
Know some people there. Getting there is the easy part lol
what you mean?
It's legit the most sweaty infra shop there is
Is this true across Toronto/NYC/London?
Beg to differ
Agentis?
Based on the most helpful WSO content, transitioning from an analyst role into a position like Brookfield Infrastructure as an associate can be challenging but not impossible. Here are some key points to consider:
Relevant Experience: Brookfield typically values candidates with strong infrastructure, private equity, or investment banking experience. If your current analyst role involves infrastructure-related deals or similar exposure, it will strengthen your case.
Networking: Since you mentioned difficulty finding consistent precedence on LinkedIn, networking becomes even more critical. Reach out to current or former Brookfield employees, especially those in similar roles, to understand their paths and gain insights into the hiring process.
Skillset Alignment: Highlight your deal experience, financial modeling skills, and any exposure to infrastructure or real assets. Brookfield values candidates who can demonstrate a deep understanding of the sector and the ability to contribute immediately.
Timing and Openings: Keep an eye on job postings and apply strategically. If you don’t see openings, consider reaching out to recruiters or directly to Brookfield’s HR team to express your interest.
Lateral Moves: If a direct jump seems difficult, consider lateral moves to firms or roles that align more closely with Brookfield’s focus. This could make the transition smoother in the long run.
If you’re determined and strategic, the move is achievable. Networking and showcasing relevant experience will be your best tools.

How tf are we supposed to know if you have a shot at Brookfield if you provide literally zero details about yourself 😂
sorry lol, but i swear i put this. analyst (did all rotations in infra related groups) + from semi target.
A number of ex-CPP Analysts work there, it’s a good feeder.
Getting in is the easiest part - they have constant outflow of juniors from being an extreme sweatshop for what they pay for - so you'll have a shot at some point if you're in Infra industry. But surviving there is the toughest part of the grind.
This is a genuine question
Why would one want to work in infra and why are you so focused on Brookfield before (it seems) even starting the process?
