Will the Texas PE scene keep growing?
Fellow Texans and soon-to-be Texans (statistically many of y'all will move here sooner or later), do we think the Texas PE scene will keep growing with the decline in oil and gas? As this will require diversification, what do we think will happen? O&G firms going renewable? Generalist firms growing in the state?
Curious what y'all's thoughts are
With the huge migration of venture and growth equity firms going to TX...I think it's only a matter of time before more traditional buyout shops start migrating to Texas/FL.
