Starting to get HH reaches- what is the best way to spin the fact that I want to recruit for PE as soon as possible but don't have any deals to talk about?

is the 1 shot thing true for every shop? Asking cuz i recruited for BX/KKR analyst last year and didn’t get either, but i would hope that i can recruit for associate?
It's one shot per position, so analyst interview won't hold you back from interviewing for associate role. Also I agree with Associate 3 that OP should wait a year and get DD experience.
