Worth replying to HHs without DD experience?
Approaching second year at an MBB and despite trying for DD experience, it's been a slow year and haven't been able to get any.
Starting to get HH reaches- what is the best way to spin the fact that I want to recruit for PE as soon as possible but don't have any deals to talk about?
Give it another year. Even if you make it to interviews you’ll flunk out and you only get 1 shot
is the 1 shot thing true for every shop? Asking cuz i recruited for BX/KKR analyst last year and didn’t get either, but i would hope that i can recruit for associate?
It's one shot per position, so analyst interview won't hold you back from interviewing for associate role. Also I agree with Associate 3 that OP should wait a year and get DD experience.
