No, but worked with their debt team. Really like them, they are quick to know what they like and what they don't and they do what they say they're going to do. Probably carries over to equity side.
any idea what analyst comp might look like
I believe for their SLC team An1 is like 70k with 15% bonus. Not great tbh. Could be different for other offices/teams. For sure underpaid imo.
Yes. Smart group of people. Interviews are pretty normal for the industry. You’ll have a pretty big case near the end where you will need to build a model. Pretty standard excel test. Shouldn’t be too bad. Do you know what team it is for exactly?
I appreciate the feedback here! The role in an associate level opening in their Industrial NNN investment platform based in Arlington, VA. I currently have 2.5 years of experience on the investments side at a top industrial REIT.
Awesome. I’m a lot more familiar with their OZ and Multifamily Acq group in SLC. That being said I’ve heard the NNN team in DC does some cool stuff and is growing a lot. From what I remember they are pretty lean. With your experience I think you should be totally fine! Good luck!
associate position? i’ve only seen analyst position open in arlington
What were they quoting for associate pay? Trying to assess what analyst pay would be in a lcol market.
in ATL- There's a senior associate in the industrials group that is an overall a douche atleast when i had a networking call with him… he ended up referring me to join. Later on, I never heard back from HR about a superday when they told me I would be in it.
Interviewed at the firm and was not a fan. Everyone was far douchier than they really should be. Both HR and the team were a pain in the ass to deal with and they could barely figure out how to schedule interviews. They ghosted me after a few rounds but probably dodged a bullet anyway.
I will say their HR is terrible. I have had multiple friends apply and the recruiters said they would pass their resumes along and then nothing happened.
For what group if you don't mind me asking?
FWIW I worked at Bridge and had a really great experience in my office. People were cool, work was interesting, and a great WLB. I can't speak for all offices as each office has its own vertical. Will confirm HR is a bit spotty, but overall interviews were the typical that you would expect without any techs.
I’ve heard their comp is below market but this was an old anecdote. Can anyone confirm?
Can confirm. Low. SLC team An1 is like 70k with 15% bonus.
Is Bridge predominantly an LP or direct investor/operator with their industrial platform?
Their industrial platform is a GP/operating platform. They were out on the street end of last year trying to raise $1.5b for their Value Fund II. Headed up by prior Brookfield guy.
Are you referring to the hybrid pe / vc, bridge investments, in chicago. they're cool folks there
Currently senior analyst with Bridge’s multifamily arm in SLC. Truly world class real estate training. I’ve acquired 9+ deals since starting (1.8 years), and currently asset manage 9 deals.Seeing everything cradle to grave here, with immense autonomy and responsibility towards the execution of the business plan.
Current comp is 95k + 20% bonus. This feels light considering my experience and education, but curious to hear the forums opinion.
