Gap in Resume Advice

Graduated in the winter and as you all know the job market has been bad and the roles that do open up have senior professionals going after them. I have above a 3.5 GPA and a couple internships in CRE.

I spend majority of my time since graduating networking over the phone and in person, along with doing courses for financial modeling in excel and Argus. While working a part time job irrelevant to CRE but gives me flexibility with interviews.

Should I include a line above my most recent internship mentioning all that I’ve been doing to try to break in full time or leave the gap and explain when in interviews?

Nah. That’s information for your email body, cover letter, and to talk about in formal and informal interviews not your resume. It’s a good story, and I went through it myself for a couple months, but you want to keep the resume clean and tailored. The “color” goes elsewhere.
