Getting Sponsored in America as an International Student

Like many of you, I'm considering a MSRE/D in America to further my career. Seeing as I would be an international student if I were to attend, how hard would it be to get sponsored by a real estate company? Have any of you successfully pulled it off?

I have 3 years of experience in REPE at a recognizable shop in my country so I'd be gunning for top MSRE/D programs and top REPE jobs.

Thanks!

Lets wait until after Nov 3rd then there’ll be more clarity lol.

Preliminary, yes, most friends in my class were able to get sponsored for H1B and eventually green cards no problem. I’m talking about MSRE/D at one of the more well known schools in the east coast (MIT, Columbia, Cornell). From what I’ve been told, getting sponsored with a masters degree is considerably easier than with a bachelors degree.

Ahahah fair point.

That's encouraging to hear, though. Would you say these students had fewer recruiting opportunities in any way? (i.e. only certain firms would look at them)

Thanks for the reply!
