Goldman Sachs RMD vs REPIA

Hi, can someone please explain the differences between the RMD group at Goldman Sachs in Dallas and the REPIA in NYC. Which would offer a better experience for real estate investing and provide the best exit ops to real estate PE?

When I had a superday in RMD, they were incredibly vague about what groups tackle what. Even when I got the offer, they said I'd be an analyst in RMD- not which group. They do have both, but there are six groups in RMD- and you won't know which group you get until you take the offer. They do have AM and IBD Originations, but obviously those are the most sought after in RMD. There's also BO and Market risk in RMD- so you don't really know what you're getting.

If you do get an offer, really press HR to ask what you'd be doing.
