Greystone/Monticello Excel Test
Does anyone have any insight in the excel test? Is this a case study or just testing excel skills? For an associate position.
Thanks,

Associate 1 in RE - Comm, bummer your thread hasn't had a response yet. Maybe one of these threads could point you in the right direction:
More suggestions...
You're welcome.

Both of these firms (run by Alan and Steve) have major turnover year after year after year. I know many talented people that have worked for both firms and left within a year. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, you will come back to this message in 24 months and thank me. Or go ahead and waste a year of your life, you're choice!
Whats so bad about Greystone? I have an interview with them for FT next week. Kinda want to avoid walking into a burning building
DM me if you want to chat, happy to answer any questions you have. Greystone blows (unless your Dad owns the company), there are so many better options out there. I bet it wasn't super hard to get an interview with them. They are always hiring because people are constantly leaving, for a reason.
The test was very quick and included a lot of excel formula type questions and some questions about a T12 they give you. If i remember correctly you needed make an amortization table as well.
I got kind of weird vibes and as other users have noted they don't seem to have a good reputation in the industry from others I have spoken to. But good luck, I don't really have personal experience with them outside of this so take that with a grain of salt.
Just took this test, there was a SHIT TON to do in an hour. We’re talking 4 sections with like 7 - 12 questions each, which was so annoying.
