PGIM Real Estate Equity vs. Private Credit

Hey all,

Was wondering everyone's opinion on PGIM and also comparing their private credit vs equity internship. Is there any difference in comps, and what does a career path look like for RE credit vs. equity. Thank you and I hope this helps other people who are wondering which one to apply to. Also, if anyone has an opinion on this, how much better would working in the Newark / NYC group be rather than the Atlanta group bc of proximity to family. I know its a personal preference but would be willing to work in NYC for a few years before moving back down if it helps that much more.

Are you asking about real estate debt or private credit? Two different things.

Within real estate, I’m pretty certain that PGIM pays the same regardless of location, so if you go Atlanta, your money will go a lot further. NYC will obviously offer more exit opportunities, and it’s probably easier to go from NYC to Atlanta than the other way around. Can’t go wrong.
