Real Estate Finance - Boston

I'm currently a 1st analyst fresh out of a non-target university and I work for a small/start-up GP/Sponsor in Boston on the asset management side which consists of myself and my director.  My responsibility is large as I cover assets by myself and directly report to the principals of my firm as well as client facing to our LP's. My responsibility also incudes Acquisitions depending on deal flow and capacity of the capital markets teams. There was no real training or on-boarding process as I was "thrown into the water to learn how to swim". Recently my firm offered to sponsor additional resources to me such as taking a couple courses at a local university or online. After a quick search, I came across the Boston University CPE Real Estate Finance curriculum which I'm highly considering.

Has anyone on here taken any of these classes and if so how did you like them?  Do you think this is a good option / worth it?

Thank you!

I’ve heard the BU course has a good rep for what it is, but can’t vouch personally. Obviously, an MSRE isn’t a terrible idea, especially if you could get someone else to pay for it.
