Real Estate Private Equity In San Diego
Any of you know of any large REPEs in San Diego? A google search will show some smaller scale ones, but I was curious to hear what the community knows about any solid REPE players down in SD.

Fairfield is there (just recapped their ownership with CalSTRS taking out Brookfield) as is OliverMcMillan which was recently enough purchased by... Brookfield, ironically enough. OliverMcMillan is definitely more national, high-profile developer than PE, and Brookfield is planning to combine them with Forest City to build a best-in-class mega-project/mixed-use development company (TBD on what that really looks like in practice).
