can't speak for KKR, but BX analyst 1 in REPE or BREDS is not pulling 200. BX discount
I interviewed for an analyst position there after working like 1.5 years and was told $240k. Did not work out so don’t have a concrete data point.
Wow that’s really high. Did they tell u how much of that was base / bonus?
If memory serves me right, $160k base + 50% bonus. I also have a masters degree which may have pumped it up.

In what world are first year RE analysts pulling in $200k?
Either I’m getting shafted at my job or these comments are hogwash nonsense. Lmao fuck
Confirming the above on Starwood. In 2022 they offered me $240K all in for analyst / associate type role.
These roles do exist but they require IB hours.
I think the $200k all-in for a first year analyst is an exaggeration but there are plenty of first year positions that pay $150k to $180k, which is about the same as IB.
These positions are hard as fuck to land though. You know the names - BX, Apollo, KKR, Ares, etc.
I know a1s pulling in 190k so close enough to 200. Ares base for acq/orig is 120k and unsure of bonus but I’m sure they’re close to that first number. Idk about Apollo equity associates but they only hire associate out of i banking
