- below market comp (about 40% below)
- no upward mobility
- high turnover (mainly due to comp and lack of promotions)
+ reasonable hours
+ a lot of reps and high exposure
Stay for a couple years then leverage it for a higher paying role somewhere else.
Was your buddy an analyst or pre-MBA associate? 40% below market is a tough discount to swallow for “the experience”
Associate - but all the same for pre and post mba.
