Transition from Infrastructure Development to Residential
As the title suggests, I currently work for a small (20 person) Infrastructure development firm on the west coast. I'm interested in transitioning to residential or commercial development.
I was wondering if anyone on this thread has done a similar switch or would be able to give some insight as to how difficult it may be and what I can expect.
For example our developments consist of university buildings, airports, affordable housing. My responsibilities range from building out pro formas to construction management tasks. I know it may not translate to residential development but would love any insight.
