What is Real Estate Consulting? NY Consulting Team
I've been interviewing with several NYC real estate shops for a first job out of college, and have come across several jobs on real estate "consulting" teams at firms like JLL and Newmark. What exactly do these consulting teams do? Do they get contracted out to other companies like Big 4 real estate teams, or do they work internally for production teams?
Trying to get an idea of the type of work, demands, and exit opportunities from an analyst role on one of these consulting teams. Thanks for any help.

It means also to provide market information through demographic analysis, detailed property information, market rents/sales prices, and comparable sales.
