Advice on what word to use

I'm having trouble deciding on the right word to use. I have been out of school for 9 months and work at a very small commercial bank.

Anyways, I am very active in the investments of the bank. I do not have the authority to trade without approval of one of the bank's directors. But, I more or less manage the $10,000,000 fixed income portfolio.

I am on the phone daily with brokers and am constantly looking at different securities, our portfolio analytics, etc. When I find something that I want to trade, I send it over to the director, call him up and we discuss it. If he approves, we buy it.

I want to say "Manage the bank's $10,000,000 fixed income portfolio" but I don't want to misrepresent what I do on my resume. I also don't want me to call BS on me. Though I feel this is one of my experiences that set me apart from other people my age. Any advice on how to word it without misrepresenting?

Speak to your boss. Whatever wording he will agree with go for it. He is going to be the one getting the phone call to verify whatever you put on your resume.

You don't really manage the money since you do not have direct authority to do anything. Kind of like a Jr Portfolio manager or something of that sort. All really depends what your official title is and what your boss thinks you do.
