Bloomberg Aptitude Test Scores on Resume?
A while ago I took the BAT and scored fairly well. Is there any benefit to putting this on my resume? Not sure if it is known/respected at all around the industry

Personally, I have not mentioned it even on my LinkedIn profile.
As for the resume, I do not see its purpose to be honest. It would be something to look at for no more than 2 seconds, nod, and proceed to something worthy of a discussion.
Perhaps more senior monkeys whose job includes going through others' resumes will provide you with a more reliable answer.
If you're applying out of college, I think this is a great thing to list on your resume. After a year or two of experience I would exclude it.
As a graduate I include it on my resume, under the 'Skills, activities and interests' section at the end of the document.
BAT on the Resume (Originally Posted: 05/10/2013)
Hey guys,
I recently took the Bloomberg Aptitude Test and I scored decently--680 (98th percentile). Should I put this on my resume, and can I put certain section scores on it? For example I had perfect scores on global markets and investment banking.
Thanks all
I would put it. My school doesn't offer it :(
BAT for Interview (Originally Posted: 07/07/2014)
I had a phone interview for a job and before the next round HR said I needed to take the Bloomberg Aptitude Test in the next week. Odd thing is that this is for an experienced analyst position and I have 2 year experience, anyone think this is weird or have had to do something similar.
The test is easy anyway. A large number of applicants don't have a rigorous finance background so you should do fine. Someone somewhere just wanted to sound useful and management probably has no idea why.
Curious if you can give an update on the BAT after you take it. Ive heard that its becoming a decent recruiting tool and some people recommend taking it just to throw it on the resume similar to the new Claritas Certificate the CFA is offering. Just wondering what the BAT actually covers.
