Cover Letter for Spring Insight Program in JP Morgan

(there's a limit of 1500 characters, so to add something I would have to delete something else that's "less relevant". Thank you in advance!)

I am writing to express my interest in the position of an intern in the Early Insight Program in the Finance and Business Management area. I am aware a chance of networking and gathering experience in a leading global firm is inviting to many people, but I know my skills and interests fit those fundamental for J.P. Morgan. Recognitions for my outstanding results in activities in the field of Mathematics prove that my quantitative knowledge is an advantage. It has taught me not only to deal with numbers and formulas, but also to pay attention to details, which is fundamental. I will leverage my communication and interaction skills into the program, which were enhanced when I lived abroad and keep improving as I surround myself with an international group of people.
In addition to that, as a tennis player I easily relate the athletics world to finance: creating an atmosphere in my favor and managing to keep control of the situation is crucial to win. I’ll use this strategy to perform activities, just like I’m used to in courts. I am applying to J.P. Morgan because I identify with how the company aspires to innovate, and I admire it for being a leading provider of financial services worldwide. An early internship opportunity is the perfect introduction to the world of finance and will provide me with what I need to make a successful application for the summer internship Program, which I am very enthusiastic about. Thank you, Name and last name
