Critical analysis of CV: Careers Fair tomorrow!

I would really appreciate some critical analysis of my CV.

I want to take my CV to the careers fair and see what they say but would rather your opinion first.

I've tried to cut my CV down to one page but stuggled abit (will keep cutting)

The lack of experience bothers me, but I will raise this with the careers departments tomorrow.

I am looking to enter/find out more information on the following departments: equity research, M&A, trading and maybe a few others.

Think I should remove the undergraduate maths studies? I never actually obtained a grade but completed alot of course work where I got 90% + but as I was in a different country I never took the exam! I just wanted to take these courses to prepare myself for my Masters (Economics)

Do you think I should take a cover letter tomorrow with me (I know they never read them) but just in case I can give them a cover letter and a CV... or do you think I should just take my CV and if things are going well / if they ask for one I will hand them one?

Thanks

First thing: Google M&I format and try to copy that. It is pretty much standard for the fields you mentioned up there and has a wealth of information.

I would get rid of the personal statement, mainly because everyone knows why you are there. Cut out the high school stuff as well.

It may do you some good to create a separate line with "related coursework" so you can write about your math classes and other relevant classes while allowing you to save space.

Throw entreprenuership and full time experience under work experience. You may also want to flesh all your work experience as best as you can to really help sell yourself.

That should be a good start and an easy way for you to cut to one page.

Follow the M&I template exact, like VoidTrading said. Then I would advise you repost it once that is done.

+1 VoidTrading, hit the nail on the head.
