listing Scholarship?

Hello everyone, I have a couple quick questions.

I am a sophomore and got a full ride, which is a combination of financial aid and scholarship, from a target school. It is majorly due to my family's low income.

  1. It is a good idea to list "full-tuition scholarship" under my education session? as I saw somebody did it on his.

  2. How does a 3.5 or 3.6 GPA look in a big pile of resume? is it just super average?

Just my suggestions:

1) I would put the name of the scholarship itself under education, not the fact that it was full tuition. If it was need-based scholarship then I would just leave it. Note: if it is the John Q scholarship, I would know a little bit about who John Q was. In an informal interview on campus I have seen someone get ripped by an MD for not knowing the history of the person for which his scholarship was named. It may be extreme, but I'm just letting you know.

2) I would say average at a glance. But that depends on target/non-target and major. I know you're from a target but if your major is Astrophysics or something considered to be more on the difficult side when it comes to grades (meaning you're not an english major at name your liberal arts college), it won't reflect the same as Finance Major.

Hope this helps!
