Please review this IB resume! Applying in the UK!

I'm a recent graduate about to begin masters and I'm applying for graduate roles at IB's in London. All advice is appreciated.

First of all, please limit it to one page.

Combine the last three sections of your CV into one.

You are a masters student, please get rid of any high school experiences/grades/etc.

I would suggest that you also get rid of the courses you have taken (to save some space). However, you should include your class standing.

After you did all of that, upload it again and I'll have a look at it

Agree with above. Your resume is supposed to make you look good, and your high school grades don't do that, and are also unnecessary- lose those. Don't repeat things- don't list your 98% trading competition profit in both your experience and your achievements, put it in one place only. I would also rename your experience section 'professional and extracurricular experience' or something along those lines, and throw your investment society experience up top and highlight it alongside your client advisor role. Should definitely be given a more prominent place on your resume than your summer camp job.

No problem. Quick note @cdonn6102 and @kinghongkong: if convention in the UK is to limit resumes to one page, then do so- but if convention allows longer resumes, that's fine too.

However, I personally prefer one page resumes and think they work well everywhere: I have spent time studying in both the US and Australia (am from AUS/NZ) and although resumes are usually longer than 1 page in Australia, after returning here from studying in the US (and learning about and really liking the one page resume convention), I used a one page resume to apply to (and successfully receive offers from) both S&T and IB summer analyst positions at BB banks. That being said, if you find you really need more than one page, do it- only as long as convention allows it. Better to have a shorter and more relevant resume than a superfluous one that you put as much stuff as possible on.
