If you went to a top MBA program and followed the recruiting advise to a T, it is highly unlikely you would end up unemployed. The reason why you do it is that some careers are very difficult to pivot into once you are out of undergrad. For example, if you went into consulting out of undergrad and wanted to do banking or vice versa, the most natural transition would be through an MBA program.
So would you say it’s less beneficial when trying to move within the same “industry”? (ie. CB -> IB)
