Boston University or Babson College

Hey y'all, I might not be the most intelligent person in this discussion compared to other deciding IVY league school, but I wanna work in finance (IB, Hedge, Private Equity) and I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion on which of the two schools I should attend? I know both school have people break into IB each year.

I am inclined towards Babson College, primarily due to its close-knit alumni network that is known to provide significant support and mentorship. However, I remain open to suggestions and insights from the discussion.

Planning on doing a dual concentration in Computational & Mathematical Finance and Quantitative Methods, with a strong focus on Economics and Mathematics.

Any suggestion is welcomed!

Both will give you great opportunities! I know Babson is one of the top schools in that area. Is there anything else drawing you to one school or the other?

What size school do you want to go to? Do you want to be in the middle of the city or the suburbs? Things like that!

How sure are you that you want to go into this field though? BU has a lot more options and a much broader range of what you can study if you find you don't enjoy that space, where as with Babson you are kind of stuck in the business world.
