Can I Get Some Advice On Undergrad Transfer?
Hi everyone! I'm a freshman at NYU Stern looking to transfer to other schools such as Duke, Brown. Dartmouth, and UChicago to name a couple. I know this isn't a college forum but my plan is to major in econ/stats and go the finance route and people here are super knowledgeable about top tier colleges and the whole process so I just wanted to ask and see what everyone thinks about my chances. I have a 1580 sat and I got a 3.76 unweighted gpa in highschool taking 10 AP classes and calculus 3. I got a 3.9 my first semester at Stern but I did take a W in my intro to computer science class because I was taking 18 credits which got really stressful and I had a lot of other things going on at the time which made it difficult to focus on school. Does anyone know how my chances are at these type of schools? Is it even worth applying with a w? Thanks for any and all help.
this better be a troll
why? It's not btw
Why would you transfer? Stern is a good school

Will depend on your race/gender to an extent as all college apps do. For transfer applications, best to have a solid story to back your reasoning as to why you want to leave. Otherwise your stats/background won’t hold you back, it’ll mostly be your essays imo
