Consortium | School-Referred Membership Worth It?

I was admitted into a Consortium member school but did not apply via Consortium. After acceptance into the program, I was made aware of the opportunity to apply for a school-referred membership and have been entertaining the idea of applying.

My understanding is that I won't be eligible for any specific Consortium scholarships/fellowship, but would still be able to attend the June Orientation Program, which gives you access to early recruiting from numerous partner firms and networking with other Consortium members from top MBA programs. Additionally, you unlock an additional network that spans beyond your program.

There are many threads on WSO and Reddit that cover Consortium applications and membership in general, but I haven't seen many that discuss the school-referred membership specifically (aside from a Reddit discussion from 10 years ago). Curious if anyone has done the school-referred process after being admitted to a program and if it was worth it.
