Do International Students at Targets get sponsored?
Do international students at Target schools get sponsored(Visa) at top Investment Banks, MBBs, PE shops?
And if so, would Duke(Undergrad) be a good place to study for an International student planning to have a career in Finance?
Usually internationals get either top offers or no offer. This is because most MM don't sponsor and EB take them only if they are really really good. I am sure that if you are motivated and do everything right starting as a freshman at Duke you can get an awesome offer. If you can afford it, do it.
I see, would attending HYPSW be substantially better than attending Duke for an international student?
Of course those schools would be better but Duke is an amazing school.
I went to one of Uva/Nyu and had no problems securing top offer so I am sure you would be more than fine at Duke if you put in the work
I see a lot of internationals at places like GS than the rest due to sponsorship reasons.If u end liking quant stuff, HFTs should all sponsor.
Would Duke be a target for most of the firms that sponsor internationals? , I hear that Duke doesn't do well in EB placements
