Emory -> Mid/Top Targets (EB) Transfer: Worth?

Prefrosh at Emory doing math+econ, coming in with credit that cuts the math major in half (i.e. I've got time to network and do clubs and etc.). For people who've made this sort of jump (semi->target), would you say that the discontinuity in networking within your old school was worth the added halo effect on ur resume/new connections at the target?

TL;DR, is semi/regional->target worth it for BB/esp. EB?

Emory can definitely place. You have a bunch of boutiques and MM in Atlanta. Try to secure a LMM/Boutique/Any internship freshman summer (you have credits so possible fudge your class if need be). Secure a LMM/MM sophomore summer. By Junior year you have 2 internships, shoot for that EB/BB. Network the whole time, see if you can get a spring/fall internship or a position at the school in a SMIF.

Emory is a known name just like SMU or USC. It’s more a regional target, but have people all over the US.

Transferred from a place similar to Emory to a school in the range of Duke/UChicago/Northwestern. 100% worth it from an IB recruitment standpoint, and schools in the Emory range are pretty overrepresented as far as the typical transfer cohort as well, so it shouldn't be that hard to make the jump either.
