Graduate School Application Advice w Low GPA (2.9)

Hi all! I’ve recently graduated with a BSc in Quantitative Economics & Econometrics with a minor in Entrepreneurship & Innovation from a college in the US. Due to some family and mental health reasons my GPA suffered a lot midway through my degree and even though I tried my hardest to bump it up towards the end the most I could get it to was a 2.9/4.0. Now I want to apply for a Master’s program and I really want to apply in Canada or somewhere in Europe. However, I feel very lost. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get a scholarship (can’t afford to study abroad without one) or even get admitted into a good program. I have good work experience including multiple internships, a full time job (currently employed) with a very data heavy role and various extra curricula’s. I also plan on giving a GRE/GMAT before I apply. Would really appreciate advice from anyone who’s gone through this process and may even have had a similar experience. What did you do to make the best out of a situation like this? How should I approach admissions and what should be the best course of action especially as I’ll be applying as an international student from South Asia. Thank you!
