reapply HEC in the same year but different major (need comments)

Hi

I really need the advice about master program and this is my first time writing a post on WSO

I got interview invitations from HEC MIM, ESSEC MIM in the first round.

Unfortunately I failed to get accepted both.

However, my ultimate career goal is to work in IB, so I'd like to reapply MIF in HEC and ESSEC in round 2.

(Of course, I will apply other b-schools' mif too)

And there will be several overlaping contents such as my referees and CV.

Can I still have a chance? And is my case common?
