High School Senior Choosing Internships

Hello Lads, I’m a high school senior out of Orange County, California. As I’m finishing submitting college apps to the dream target schools and others as well, I have begun searching for summer internships for the summer before my freshman year of college.

I want to eventually break into M&A at a BB or enters PE in Southern California. I have the opportunity to intern at a company service management startup potentially going IPO (think salesforce) with regards to the growth strategy and finance parts of the company. The other option is to basically to a MM Real Estate PE firm.

I’m torn in that I want to diversify my knowledge of different industries but also value the early start in PE.

Advices are greatly appreciated!
