How to get a prestigious MFin without internship experience?

Hi everyone,

I am a student applying for a Masters programme in London. I've already got rejected from Oxford's MFE so I'm looking at other options. I've also applied to Imperial's Economics & Strategy for Business.

Currently, I am applying to LBS' Masters in Management (MiM), but as the date of application gets closer, I find myself wanting to perhaps apply for a masters in finance.

My profile is as follows
GPA: Expected First from Economics and Management at King's College London. (4.0)
GMAT 740 (Q49,V42)
Work Experience: Internship at Management Consulting at KPMG, Audit at PwC and a political-risk consultancy. All of them have been in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (yay nepotism lol), and each for about two months.
Extra Curricular: I didn't do much in the first two years but I founded a club and am the treasurer in the final year.

My problem is, I want to work in consulting, which the MiM has an amazing reputation for. However, I also want to do a more challenging and 'respected' programme (doing E&M at King's I know the bad rep management studies gets) such as the MFA at LBS or the MFin at LSE. Doing a more technical course will also allow me more options in the future.

Can anybody offer any advice on how I can perhaps land either of those programmes despite my lack of work experience? Is it okay if I say I want to do consulting but apply to a finance course? What more without an internship from a BB.

Having spoken to the admissions department, they seem to think I have a good chance of being admitted to the MiM. Maybe I am being greedy dreaming of the MFA. I'd also appreciate some speedy feedback as we're kind of late in the admissions cycle.

Thank you all in advance! Much love
