Career Resources
Try and join different investing/finance clubs at your school. Research banks and deals. Start going over recruiting guides as well. Cold email people starting with LinkedIn alumni.
As mentioned, try your best to join the investing and finance clubs at your school. I think networking itself is a learned skill, not one that can be taught, and certainly not over a WSO comment. I would start emailing seniors at Georgetown and ask them about their process recruiting and how they got to where they are. Once you get more comfortable with that, I'd branch out to alumni. Your first few calls will probably be awkward, but that's just how it is. As you get more practice, conversations will flow smoother and you'll be much more confident. It's important to get these few awkward calls out of the way before you start networking with people that are a lot more influential on your career prospects.
“my dad is an exec…how do i get a job?”
