Is 26/27 to old for a Master in Finance, in Europe?

Giving you some context, I'll graduate with 25 years old, for reason that wasn't up to me. However, i interned at a BBB, in Project Finance, and currently I'm at S&P, in infrastructure coverage. My expectation is to break into IBD untill my last year in college, and I'm pretty confortable with technicals etc.

But after 1/2 years in Investment Banking I'd really like to study in europe to have some professional experiences that here, in my country, you wouldn't have. But the only thing that I'm very concerned, is my age.

Will my age affect the selection process in a master's? Will it be a problem for BBBs/EBs?

About universities – HEC Paris, LBS, ESSEC and Bocconi are targets for me.

Thanks.

Considering people now live into their late 80s you are still a super young person for doing a Masters in the modern era.

I would pick a program in a school that lines you up in the exact city or job sphere you wish to be in. So that it leads directly to opportunities and don’t overly focus on getting the highest grades, because in the real world, it doesn’t matter.

More important to network and meet people that will open a door.
