Median Profile for Deferred MBA (M7)?

Read through old threads saying "you need to be a differentiated candidate" (i.e. STEM, diversity, and generally not IB/PE + target school) to get into these programs. As someone who went to a semi-target and is starting FT in IB next summer, it seems like the consensus on this site is that it's better, with my profile, to wait a few years instead of applying now to deferred programs. Just to get a gauge, what then IS the profile of a typical candidate who gets admitted into these programs? Is applying with my background the the equivalent of applying to IB Sophomore Diversity programs as a white/asian male (i.e. no chance)?

E.g. Diversity / Target / 3.7 GPA / STEM or Liberal Arts / Internship in random industry? (And why would MBA programs prefer candidates with this profile > a MF PE analyst / Harvard / 3.9 GPA / Econ? Especially if you factor in that the latter is clearly more committed to the Business path and more likely to act on a deferred acceptance?)
