MIM after Quant Finance Master for IB, is it worth it?
Hey everyone,
I’m currently doing a Master’s in Quantitative Finance at EUR and aiming to break into investment banking. I’m considering whether doing an MiM afterwards would actually improve my chances, or if I should instead focus on off cycle internships and recruiting directly after my current degree.
I’m an EU citizen but don’t speak Dutch, which outside of 2 banks in Amsterdam is a detriment for recruiting. I am thinking about LBS MiM, LSE MiM, and Imperial/Warwick MiM or Finance or Finance and Accounting.
Would really appreciate any insights on whether a second masters adds value in this case as I prepare to take either GMAT or GRE.
