MSF Student | LMM PE Deal Sourcing + IB Experience | Looking for Paid Analyst Role in NYC

Hey WSO — putting myself out there because the traditional application process hasn't been cutting it.

Who I am: Fordham University Gabelli School of Business, MS Finance (GPA 3.67, graduating December 2026). Based in NYC/NJ.

Current role: Deal Sourcing & Origination Analyst at Verde Vista Partners, a lower-middle-market PE firm running roll-up acquisition strategies across ESG-aligned fragmented industries. Day to day:

  • Screening 80+ companies monthly to identify acquisition targets
  • Building full LBO models to assess buyout feasibility and investor returns
  • Creating comprehensive acquisition profiles — ownership structure, margins, D/E ratio, revenue growth, market positioning
  • Preliminary underwriting — reviewing financials, identifying data gaps, evaluating exit strategy viability

Prior experience: Investment Banking Intern at Equirus (Mumbai) — worked directly on 3 live M&A and IPO transactions. Built DCF and comparable company models in Excel, Bloomberg, and Capital IQ. Prepared DRHP filings in compliance with SEBI regulations. Supported deal execution from pitch to close.

Certifications: SIE certified (Nov 2025). CFA Level 1 candidate (May 2026).

What I'm looking for: Paid off-cycle internship or full-time analyst role starting immediately. Open to boutique IB, LMM PE, search funds, independent sponsors, or corporate finance. NYC preferred but open to remote.

If anyone has leads, knows someone hiring, or wants to connect — DMs are open. Happy to send resume immediately.

Thanks in advance.
